Stress is costing your company money!

According to the International Labor Organization’s 1993 World Labor Report, job stress is estimated to cost the economy $200 billion every year in lowered productivity, compensation claims, absenteeism, health insurance, and direct medical expenses.

Research shows that up to 90% of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress-related conditions. Up to 80% of industrial accidents are stress-related. Over 50% of lost work days are stress-related. And 14% of workers say stress caused them to quit or change jobs in the previous two years.*

The effects of stress are cumulative, leading to such things as:

  • Headaches, migraines

  • Muscle tension and pain

  • Poor concentration, fatigue

  • Insomnia, anxiety

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis

  • Low immune resistance

  • High blood pressure

  • Irritability, anger

  • Job “burn-out”

On-Site seated massage therapy can help!

For over a decade, on-site massage has been effectively relieving stress in the workplace for everyone from CEO’s to hourly employees.

It is effective because massage:

  • Relieves muscle tension and the pain it causes

  • Calms the nervous system and increases circulation, which boosts energy and increases alertness

  • Helps employees identify and possibly eliminate potential physical imbalances, before they progress and cause problems

  • Provides a complete change of pace, so that the mind and body can relax and rejuvenate

  • Reduces stress and stimulates the body’s natural pain killers

  • Stimulates good immune responses for better overall health

How does it work and what is the cost?

On-site massage is a short session at your workplace given by a licensed and insured medical massage therapist. It typically lasts from 15 to 20 minutes, uses no oils, and the employee is fully clothed. The massage is given in a portable massage chair, which offers comfort and support while utilizing minimal space. The head, neck, back, shoulders, arms, and hands are all able to be addressed, focusing on the employee’s preferences or areas of concern.

There are no up-front costs or equipment fees. You pay $125.00 for the 1st hour only ,and then $75 for each additional hour, roughly $1 per minute. You can tailor your company’s massage program to suit your needs, as well as the needs of your employees. You may also choose to split the costs with your employees. Two massages a month cost much less per person than most other health and wellness programs.

On-site chair massage programs can be arranged to accomodate as few as 3, and up to as many as 30 employees, receiving treatment per day. For your convenience, a sign-up sheet will be provided in order for employees to schedule their massage. On-site chair massage is effective, safe, easy, enjoyable, convenient, and the results are immediate!
